Change of Season

Cool nights are making us think "season change". Doing fall leaves, pumpkin trees, millet grass, sedum, "milva" roses, sunflowers for the Boulderado today. Hoping for some more cool temps and moisture for all our friends in the hills.

Did you know that local businesses donate to charities at more than twice the rate of national chains? Sept 24th, along with Big Red F, Hapa Sushi, Boulderado, Q's and Japango (to name a few) Living Interiors is donating the "fabulous floras" for The Family Learning Center Fundraiser. Ikebana

Unlike Western floral arrangement, in ikebana (japanese floral design) "less is more". Experiment using three elements--such as a branch, a tall flower and a round feature flower. The key is to use as few stems as possible!
